Matt HARRIS is a powerful, dynamic vocalist and multi-instrumentalist covering an array of folk music from traditional to modern, shanties and more. Regularly joined by Lorna on the penny whistle.

Rachel HILL is an acclaimed folk-inspired singer-songwriter known for her captivating live performances and evocative songwriting. Using a vocal loop pedal, Rachel creates enchanting performances with layers of live-recorded harmonies.
From a young age, Rachel immersed herself in music, training as a classical soprano and writing songs from the age of 12. Now a full-time freelance artist, songwriter and producer, Rachel has completed her second international tour, performed at several UK festivals and continues to evolve as a prolific and driven artist.

JAUNTY are a 5 piece band from Dorset, renowned for their vocal harmonies. Playing English, Irish and Scottish folk as well as Bluegrass and other enjoyable genres.

JUST US. Simon and Steph are a local acoustic duo who enjoy singing harmonies to well known songs. They can be found joining in with the Wimborne Folk club, Brunny Folk, and the Friday night sessions at Café @ the Allendale. They have been part of the friendly local music scene for many years and especially enjoy performing at Wimborne festival.

Paul KINVIG is a seasoned musician & songwriter based in Dorset, with over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He began his musical journey at the age of 17 and has been singing, writing & recording since. As a solo acoustic performer, Paul delivers live music across the south coast. His repertoire includes a mix of popular covers and original compositions.
In addition, Paul is a member of The Collective, a vocal quartet that regularly performs to support charitable causes and various events. paulkinvig.co.uk

KOLUMBIA is an indie rock band made up of year 10 students from Queen Elizabeth's School in Wimborne. They play mainly 90s-based music from bands such as Stone Roses and Oasis as well as playing originals.

LIVE HARMONY are a (currently!) all female acapella group based in Broadstone. Set up in October 2023, they sing uplifting hits from as far back as the '50s to the present day. A love of creating great music as part of a group whilst having fun are their main priorities.
They are a sociable, friendly group who meet on Monday evenings during term time, and are always happy to welcome new vocalists. Musical director: Liv Sidaway.

Lÿme is a rock band made up of students from Queen Elizabeth's School in Wimborne. They play music from the 60s to post 90s, including Jimi Hendrix, Rage Against the Machine, Blur and Nirvana. They are excited to be making their debut at the Folk Festival.

David MCKENZIE is a musician based in Poole, Dorset. He is one of a growing number of players of the Scottish Smallpipes, a rediscovered instrument from the pages of piping history.
With a mix of traditional and contemporary compositions played on smallpipes and low whistles, David will take you on a musical journey through the ages.

John MERITON. Observer of life, teller of stories. John is a singer/songwriter from Hampshire. With a powerful, warm and witty delivery, his songs are about life as he sees it; real people, places, stories, emotions and experiences.

MILTON HIDE (Jim Tipler and Jo Church) tell intriguing stories through original song, blending guitar and pure vocal delivery with percussion and clarinet as a third voice. At times heartbreaking, at times wry, a Milton Hide performance engages and charms an audience, leaving them wanting more.

Performing laugh-out-loud funny songs, parody songs and also heartbreakingly poignant songs, Polly MORRIS is a whirlwind of entertainment. As well as being an entrancing solo performer, Polly can often be seen with the Polly Morris Band, which combines fun with musicality and has become synonymous with the phrase "Expect the Unexpected”. MOSTLY HARMLESS are a four piece acoustic harmony band made up of two couples; friends for over 30 years. When they all retired from their jobs, after enjoying singing round the table at home for many years, they decided to unleash their enthusiasm on the public and have been playing gigs since summer 2023. They cover Americana, Blues, Folk and Country.

MOTHERUKERS take on modern day classics and forge them into timeless wonders of a bygone era with the power of 'Ukular Fusion'.
