Music H - N

The Jays. A semi-acoustic, folk inspired duo that have been performing and recording together for four years. During that time they have played several live shows, appeared at Lyme Regis and Sidmouth folk festivals, performed three sets live on Riviera FM radio, and recorded and issued two CD albums.

They continue to perform a variety of their own original songs plus selected popular cover versions. The Jays are on Lemonrock, iTunes, Spotify and YouTube.

David McKenzie is a musician based in Poole, Dorset. He is one of a growing number of players of the Scottish Smallpipes, a rediscovered instrument from the pages of piping history.

With a mix of traditional and contemporary compositions played on smallpipes and low whistles, David will take you on a musical journey through the ages.

Milton Hide (Jim Tipler and Jo Church) tell intriguing stories through original song, blending guitar and pure vocal delivery with percussion and clarinet as a third voice. At times heartbreaking, at times wry, a Milton Hide performance engages and charms an audience, leaving them wanting more.
“Eclectic in style, sound and subject matter. Delightfully engaging and distinctly moreish…”  RnR Magazine
