PISKEY LED formed in Cardiff in late 2021; they showcase a highly entertaining and absorbing mixture of original and traditional music, influenced by the folk traditions of Cornwall, Northern England and Ireland. The band has played at a number of Welsh festivals, including Devauden, How The Light Gets In at Hay on Wye, and Folk On The Lawn in Tintern.

Jamie PRITCHARD has a sound that lands between Folk-Rock and Country. His live shows feature original songs, many from his most recent EP ‘Tapestry’ (2023) that’s received radio play in the UK and US, as well as a classic cover or two from artists that have influenced his sound such as Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer and Chris Stapleton. Jamie and his band’s performances offer a mix of joy filled tunes to get you moving, with stripped back moments allowing the storytelling of the songs to shine through.

QHCB

Q.H.C.B. (Quartet of the Hot Club of Bournemouth) are pleased to be back at the 2025 Festival to play their brand of swinging Hot Club/Gypsy Jazz music. Included in the Q.H.C.B. repertoire are compositions by the legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt, and contemporary and Latin tunes played in their own Hot Club/Gypsy Jazz style.

QUO CONNECTION. The authentic and approved sound of classic 70's Quo! From the ashes of John Coghlan's Quo, which featured Status Quo's original drummer, Mick Hughes, Rick Chase and Pete Mace reformed in 2023 with new drummer Russ Chadd under the name QUO CONNECTION.

Playing many of Status Quo’s hits plus some incredible album tracks, QUO CONNECTION replicate the true and original 70's sound of Status Quo are eager to bring their high-octane show to you!

RATRACE. Established 1999, Ratrace ska band have been playing the UK & Europe for 25 years. They've played alongside and supported Bad Manners (over 50 times), The Selector, The Beat with Dave Wakeling and many others, playing to over 75,000 people every year.

RESOUND. St Michael's Middle School Choir makes a welcome return to Wimborne Minster Folk Festival.

A solo blues musician keeping blues out of the grave. Pete ROBSON takes a simple approach with his resonator slide guitar, homemade stomp box and deep, edgy voice. His dramatic sound may be rooted in the delta blues of old, but his lyrics bring this old-time music up to the present day.

Glenn ROSS and the Creeks. Glenn Ross is a Purbeck based singer-songwriter who has appeared on BBC Scotland, That’s Tv Manchester and BBC Introducing. His latest band of seasoned musicians consists of Emma Fidler - vocals, Peter Lubbock - Guitar and Rob Mills – sax.

ANDREW RUMSEY has been writing songs for 35 years and may just have perfected his art. He released an EP ‘The Release Mechanism’ in 2024 and you will hear its best tracks together with some great new tunes. The music takes the best of indie, acoustic with tinges of country and folk.

SEAFURY SHANTY CREW are based in Wareham & were founded in 2022. They have been growing in strength and numbers ever since! They sing traditional shanties and some more unusual sea songs, as well as ones everyone knows. They can be seen all over Dorset at pubs and festivals.

SHIMMIE THEATRE is a community theatre group for adults with learning disabilities, empowering them to create and gain confidence through the performing arts (dance, drama and singing), including music, props and exercise that will encourage social interaction, self-esteem and increase health and wellbeing.

Rich SPEARS

Solo artist singer and guitar player. A mixed set of folk/country and contemporary songs.

Stagecoach

STAGECOACH WIMBORNE are honoured to be invited back to Wimborne Folk Festival for the fourth year! Their 6-15 year old students cannot wait to join the parade and entertain the streets of Wimborne; they’ll be joined by 4-6 year old students on Willow Walk Stage as they perform songs and dances to get everyone in the summer mood. Sunsets

SUNSETS are an upbeat eclectic covers band performing unique versions of varied music across multiple decades and genres. Covering artists such as: Fleetwood Mac, Tina Turner, Adele, Harry Styles, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, Florence + the Machine, The Stereophonics and many more!
