THE BERE ESSENTIALS are a band playing mostly old Americana tunes, Western Swing, and country with a smile. They now have a wide repertoire including songs from this century. Featuring 5 string banjo, fiddle, guitars, vocals and bass they are a mandolin short of being a bluegrass band but being from Bere Regis they are essentially beer and bluegrass. Facebook

THE JAYS. A semi-acoustic, folk inspired duo that have been performing and recording together for four years. During that time they have played several live shows, appeared at Lyme Regis and Sidmouth folk festivals, performed three sets live on Riviera FM radio, and recorded and issued two CD albums.

They continue to perform a variety of their own original songs plus selected popular cover versions. The Jays are on Lemonrock, iTunes, Spotify and YouTube.

THE QUARTERJACKS of Wimborne are a local marching band, based in the historic market town of Wimborne Minster. You can find them performing at local events, carnivals, and community gatherings. They practice at Allendale Community Centre in Wimborne, on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Whether you’re watching them play or thinking about joining in, they’re all about finding fun and friendship through music.

THE RAVEN KINGS. Andrew James is an accomplished musician, singer and ceilidh caller. The Raven Kings is his band - a selection of the many dep musicians he's worked with over his years of performing. Returning to the festival after a very successful year, in which they led 2024's folk sessions (and appeared on the Olive Branch stage), this year The Raven Kings will be bringing their blend of folk music, bluegrass, sea shanties and country covers to the main stage in the Square on Saturday evening

THE ROYAL T's are a high energy 3-piece acoustic trio, bringing the perfect soundtrack to festivals and events all over the UK. With a vast repertoire covering timeless hits from every era, they create unforgettable, live music experiences wherever they go. From classic tunes to contemporary chart-toppers, they will have you dancing and singing all night long.

THE STEVEN PARIS AGREEMENT is a power-folk project, inspired by artists such as Big Bill Broonzy, Son House, Nina Simone, Bert Jansch and many others. Together they create a perfect musical tapestry, dedicating their work to the rediscovery of American folk music and the composition of their own original material. Suitable for both listening and dancing audiences, The Steven Paris Agreement never misses to surprise music lovers with their fresh approach on American music and their unique songwriting.

Vocal Fun

THE VOCAL FUN COMMUNITY CHOIRS are designed for everyone to join in regardless of ability/experience. They put an emphasis on having fun, making friends & having a go at singing a wide range of music. Everyone is welcome to come along for a free taster session. www.vocalfun.co.uk

VIVAMENTE VOICES is a popular community choir based in Wimborne, with a big heart. They rehearse regularly throughout the year, performing concerts to raise money for local charities and good causes. ​Their repertoire is varied and includes pop, show songs, and a little gospel. They are always on the look-out for tenors and basses!

WACIAN is an acoustic duo from Dorset, known for their strong rhythmic themes and eclectic, often unconventional song choices for an acoustic duo. Their music blends heartfelt lyrics, harmonious vocals, and a mix of classic pop, contemporary folk and acoustic influences. Wacian has built a loyal following through live performances, where their chemistry and passion for music are evident - performing and engaging audiences at various venues and festivals. Their ability to connect with their audience make Wacian a notable act in the acoustic music scene.

Based in Poole, WEYLAND - Neil, Andy, Chris and Wendy - are a traditional English and Irish Folk Band. Instrumentation includes keyboards, guitars, mandolin, bass, Irish flutes, recorders and fiddles. When joined by Matt - their lead guitarist - they play Folk Rock, Blues and some Americana.

WIMBORNE GUITARS are a local guitar playing group comprising beginners to advanced players, led by their teacher Mark Banfield.

You might also catch Mark in a duo, with his wife Helen.

Now based in Glastonbury, Somerset, singer-songwriter Mandy WOODS has had a nomadic life in music, crafting songs wherever she has happened to find herself on her unconventional journey. Her Americana-infused songs of hope, heartbreak, humour and the highway are inspired by her own life and adventures and the lives of those around her.
